Adults
Our programs help adults gain real job skills, find meaningful employment and build independence through training, coaching and hands-on experience in the community.
More than 500 adults with developmental disabilities over the age of 18 are served annually through our on-site Work Center, Supported Employment, and Learning Center programs.
Supported Employment
The Supported Employment program, a United Way-funded program, offers job placement and support to individuals with intellectual, developmental, physical, and mental health disabilities. In depth, one-on-one support from Employment Specialists enables participants to learn how to get a job, specific job skills, and techniques to cooperate with co-workers and supervisors to best succeed on the job.
Area companies that support our participants in Supported Employment include (but are not limited to): Amazon, Chartwell at Northern Kentucky University, Club Chef, Cracker Barrell, The Gap Outlet, Kroger, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, and Walmart.

The Workcenter
The Work Center provides employment at New Perceptions campus in parts assembly, kit assembly, collating, bagging, labeling, rework, and packaging jobs for small items. Our participants learn diverse work skills and increase independent functioning skills, which includes transitional employment opportunities so clients may experience employment in the community.
